RPPS Proposals and Disbursements
DMCC is able to provide agencies an online software solution for the electronic submission of debt management plan proposals and disbursements directly to MasterCard RPPS™ through its master credit counseling software license. Utilizing our secure software platform, agency personnel are able to upload proposal and disbursement files in any format for conversion and processing through MasterCard RPPS™. Return files from MasterCard™ are available for viewing or download (in the same format as uploaded) the following business day through the same platform.
This service requires each agency to wire transfer their clients’ disbursement funds directly to MasterCard™. This method ensures that the funds received by MasterCard™ for disbursement are not at risk of return like payments through the ACH Network. It also eliminates any holding of such funds by third parties and provides for the immediate processing of disbursements to your clients’ creditors.
Check Printing
The DMCC software platform may also be used for the printing of manual checks to be mailed to client creditors that do not accept payments through the RPPS™ system. Checks printed through the DMCC software would be drafted directly from the agency’s bank account, so each agency maintains control of their client trust funds throughout the process.
